Bravely Default and 3D Dot Game Heroes developer Silicon Studio, and Lost Odyssey and The Last Story developer Mistwalker have announced the joint development of a new title.
The game’s title, contents, and release window will be announced at some point in the future.
The collaboration promises to combine Mistwalker’s exceptional power of imagination and Silicon Studio’s technological strength and long-term management power to create an experience that video game fans around the world can enjoy. It promises to be a game with a new and original setting.
An image, attached right, is included with the press release. We first saw this artwork back in 2009, and were told by Mistwalker that it had “nothing to do” with whatever Mistwalker was working on at the time. (Update: It’s also attached to the Terra Battle for console downloadstarter page.)
