Pirating resources

Unread postby icycalm » 05 Oct 2017 10:22

I am okay with pirating games for several purposes.

1. As demos

2. For archival purposes

3. For critics, who can't afford everything but who SHOULD own everything

If I think of any more reasons I will let you know (or you can suggest some yourselves).

If you want to discuss the above, I think we already have a thread in the Theory forum, or you can create one if we don't. This thread is merely for posting resources.

Looks like they have many new games. I might try Cuphead, since I haven't been able to make the Steam version work, and had to refund it (though everyone else on my friendlist who bought the game managed to run it just fine, so don't let my experience deter you from buying it. You can always refund it anyway, as I did.)

I guess a fourth valid reason would be:

4. When you can't get the legal version to work

Though I should be trying at least the GOG version, if that was my excuse with Cuphead. I just think GOG is a waste of money due to the inferior social features compared to Steam. Still haven't spent a dime there. All the games I have on there I got free.

A good one for people with slow internet speeds. Also, the games install pre-cracked so you can just launch them straight after installing. No muss, no fuss.
