The play images above are from some of the early prototypes. The more recent footage in the videos is from the multiplayer client that you get if you buy the early access.
The multiplayer feels like flimsy laser tag at the moment, without any feeling of weight, like that of being slowed down when shot. The HUD is really cool, as is how the maps morph into different states and change lighting. The game mode in place is rounds of "kill the other team, and one of your teammates gets to respawn if you capture a domination point or land a kill when you're the last man standing". I really hope they add the "aim from your hip" from Insurgency [ > ], especially since it would work great together with the already implemented laser sights.
In short: it's early days still, but it could turn out quite good, if they come through with the co-op. (The prototype with combat against robots was surprisingly good, considering its narrow scope.)
