This is as good as confirmation that they are working on something new:

I'll get a upcoming work post sometime soon. Just need to finish up work on this other stuff first.

Nice to hear once more that PA/Uber are doing well financially. We've been hearing this since the very beginning, and all evidence from Steam supports this, but it's nice to hear it on a regular basis because the doomsayers tend to drown out reality with their inane babble.

So, this new stuff they are working on could be, in order of personal preference:

1. An expansion pack for PA

2. Human Resources, or an entirely new RTS

3. A new, non-RTS game

I don't see any other alternatives, but feel free to correct me if you see any.

I don't see 2 as very likely, given the failure of the HR kickstarter, and I have no interest in a non-RTS game from Uber given their specialization in RTS and their track record with other games, so all my hopes are pinned on an expansion pack.

On the other hand, they said they are working on asteroids now, so it wouldn't make much sense to release those as separate from an expansion pack, so I don't know. I guess it could be anything.

Either way, I am really looking forward to getting back into PA soon, and hope there are enough others to join me when I do. Iban at least seems to have put 300 hours into it in the last 2-3 months alone lol.
