Only managed to get two up:

http://culture.vg/features/segabastard/ ... -new-xbox/
http://culture.vg/features/art-theory/rip-nintendo/

Which means you should expect two tomorrow. Definitely reviews this time.

Added an opening quote to the R.I.P., Nintendo essay, so check it out again, it's awesome. And yes, I know Cliffy doesn't work for Epic anymore, but he did when he made that statement, so there.

I am finishing up a third article for today, part of Videogame Culture: Volume II, titled "Why Versus Multiplayer Games Are Worse Games Than JRPGs". It is absolutely fantastic, and, unless you are an aspie, it will make you unable to look at versus multiplayer games in any other way from now on than with utter contempt.

And then I'll need to finish up my RTS and PlanetSide reviews, and try to explain why these are awesome games DESPITE being versus MP games, and not BECAUSE of it (i.e. they would have been a million times better if they WEREN'T versus MP).

So much to write, so little time.

Second article for today: http://culture.vg/features/commentary/w ... ex-change/

Means I can take a day off, which I will indicate from now on with a +1 at the end of each relevant post. Positive numbers means I can take that many days off, negative ones that I owe that many articles, and a zero that I am all caught up.

+1

Today's article: http://culture.vg/features/art-theory/t ... s-friends/

I am now going to stop bumping this thread. There's no point anymore: I only did this to "gamify" my update process and motivate myself to update more often. I've clearly succeeded for the past 10 days or so, and continuing this now is counter-productive. Why? Because there are time savings to be made by posting 2 or 3 updates at a time, instead of 1 a day. So I can shoot for 7 updates a week instead of 1 a day, and save a lot of time in the process, while still delivering the same amount of content.

I may resurrect this thread if I start slacking, but until then, keep an eye on the frontpage for new updates, because there are a shitload of them coming.

Added an opening quote by old 'Schopey, so check the article again, it's worth it.

I am bringing this thread back 'cause it was fun. It makes updating the site a little more interesting to me because this way even I don't know what will be posted next. Plus, it helps me stick to the one-article-a-day promise.

So the choices for today are:

Biohazard 7: Resident Evil
Blazblue -Calamity Trigger-
Factorio
Not Art: Doom (1993)

Lemme know what you wanna read.

lol was kinda hoping you'd pick one of the others 'cause they are all ready to go. I've been updating Orgy all day today and don't have any energy left to type half a dozen more pages, but I'll get it done tomorrow, along with Quake, since I'll owe you one review by then.

It looks like people are really enjoying the Not Art stuff, so I'll post all of that up, and then get back to the regular updating schedule, and start using this thread again. No point asking you what you want until then. recoil bravely resisted, but it was a landslide.
