icy's One Review (or Article) A Day Promise

Unread postby icycalm » 06 Nov 2014 20:25

It started yesterday with the Civ: Beyond Earth review, and will continue today with a review of either Psycho Break, Endless Legend, Divinity: Original Sin, or Destiny. It's your choice. Post here which of these games you'd like to see reviewed today, and when I get back from swimming I'll upload the most popular choice.

I'll try to keep this up indefinitely, and when I take a break for a day, I'll make up for it by posting two reviews the next day (or three after three days, etc.)

Let's see how long I can keep it up. I certainly have enough contributors and sources at this point, apart from what I myself write, to keep this up forever.

When I came back home the vote was 4/4 between D:OS and Destiny (Masa hadn't voted yet), so I started uploading an article instead:

That's your piece for the day. I might also sneak in a Videogame Culture article in an hour or two depending on how I feel.

In the meantime, keep voting, and hopefully we'll have a clear winner for tomorrow.

Today's article: http://culture.vg/features/commentary/t ... gamergate/

D:OS and Psycho Break seem to be the most popular choices, so I'll upload those two next. Maybe today if I get the chance, otherwise over the weekend.

Second article for today: http://culture.vg/features/art-theory/o ... ni-gaming/

This means I can take a day off, when I need to.

Calling in that day off. I did get half of the D:OS review formatted though, so it should go up tomorrow.

Still editing the D:OS review. It's not by me, and I am not 100% happy with it, so I'll keep tinkering with it until I am. There will also be a review by me down the line, probably in the Videogame Art section.

So, two reviews for tomorrow then, the other being Psycho Break, which seems much easier to edit.

I am hoping to have the D:OS review up later today.

Today's review will be Psycho Break because D:OS is still being worked on: http://culture.vg/reviews/in-depth/psyc ... 4-ps4.html

So I am all caught up now. Expect something new tomorrow, hopefully D:OS, but definitely something else if not.
