Why It's Easier to Bully Game Devs Than Film Directors

It is obvious that SJWs have an easier time harassing game devs, inducing them to change their works, than film directors. Try to come up with reasons why this is so.

1- Game developers are less confident, some of them being SJWs themselves. The only exception I can think right now is Daniel Vavra from Warhorse Studio, the developers of the upcoming game Hatred and Platinum games;

2- SJWs have more power in games media.

1. What lobote said.

2. Videogames aren't considered art, so a change is not considered going against the essence of the game but merely making their product more accessible to a wider base.

"You have to be a complete fascist in art," [Ricky Gervais] says. "It's not a democracy at all. You have to do your own thing... people don't know what they want."

3. What lobote said.

Game developers are more "plugged-in" and technically adept than film directors, which means that they are likely to actively use popular social media. This makes them easier to contact and, as such, easier to harass. Games are also more often designed by committee than films, where the "single vision" of the "auteur" dominates the production of the media. This gives film directors a much greater sense of self-importance, which causes them to believe more in their single vision. It is important to note that equivalent "auteur" game developers do exist -- Kojima, Bleszinsky, Hocking, Kamiya -- and they, too, are difficult to harass.

First of all SJWs themselves react to videogames more than movies. Videogames are the future and captivate audiences more than movies.

Even if it were equally easy to bully the film folk and the gaming folk you would still see more corruption in the videogames because for them it's a juicier target. The reverse is also true. If they do not target videogames people will start getting the idea that power, war, and being the better player are really fun!

You already stated something similar to this effect (can't remember where though) where you described how first an art is taken its zenith and then the artfags come in to cause decay. If something glows too brightly the lower must avert their eyes; when its light is everywhere they need to blacken it.

Second is the location. Western games are made mainly in California. That's where the headquarters of a lot of major studios are. California is a breeding ground for SJWs. I went to elementary school there and we sang songs about how Martin Luther King was a great man, no kidding. So the game industry will naturally have lots of lunatics without the SJWs' help. Thank God we still have Japan.

Third: It's easier to deceive about videogames than movies. This is doubly true for women because women do not play games nearly as much as men.
"Grand Theft Auto, isn't that the game where you murder hookers for points?" If you want to throw them into a rampage grab a few screenshots from one of those rape-filled visual novels and say "This is a videogame", doesn't even matter if the game is in their language! Take a few pictures of titty mods from an Elder Scrolls game; they don't know what mods are! It's very easy to get millions of hateful insects buzzing about a game they haven't played, in a genre they don't understand, for a console they don't own, because of a feature that isn't even on the disc (and even easier if it is on the disc!)

Fourth: Videogames are made by and enjoyed by men. Men are evil. Therefor videogames must be evil. This is their equation. To solve it they must remove men, videogames, or enjoyment. Ideally they would get rid of all three if they could.

It's a lot easier to change textures in a videogame and as long as it's not changing the mechanics of the game, game devs are more likely to be pushovers when it comes to aesthetics. Film directors are more aesthetically sensitive since it's a major component of film, so if someone were to tell them their vision is wrong, a director would fight back a lot harder on the issue than a game dev.

That's it.

In a two-hour cutscene (=movie), aesthetics is all you got. In a game, you also have a lot of other things, so an aesthetic change doesn't make as much of a difference as in a movie. If you make Bond a homosexual, you kill the movie. If you make the protagonist in a Far Cry a fag, there's hardly any difference.
