Friday, March 17th (2:30pm-12midnight)
Saturday, March 18th (11am-2am)
Sunday, March 19th (11am-7pm)

This one takes place at the Museum of Pinball located at 700 South Hathaway, Banning, CA 92220. Price range is $45 - $110. While there's a ton of pinball machines, they also have a pretty big roster of arcade games from the '80s up until the mid '90s. Meet up details to be determined.

Ended up posting this notice too together with the other one, after all. Doing all I can to fill up that damn empty space at the bottom of the page.

Joined a scoring tournament, gonna win it for the Cult lol

icycalm
What game?

recoil
It's a round robin with 8 games. Bubble Bobble, Gunsmoke, Elevator Action, Lady Bug, Gyruss, Ghosts n Goblins, Mr. Do, and Time Pilot.
Got the high score on Elevator Action, but I sucked at the rest haha

icycalm
Sounds fun

That reminds me of the laptop backpacks connected to VR headsets
Same principle I think

recoil
Tied for third in the tournament

icycalm
Out of how many people?
Had you played any of the games before?

recoil
30 people or so, I'll have to ask for the exact number

icycalm
Cool!

recoil
Played everything aside from Lady Bug and Mr. Do

Glad this is here. Still trying to kill the stage 3 boss.

Nice job recoil.

recoil
Btw, 78 people entered, but a majority didn't turn in their scores.

Weird thing about the last image. In the browser it looks on its side, but if you view it by right-clicking on it, it looks correct, exactly the way I uploaded it to the server. Not sure what's going on here. In 11 years of running this forum I've never seen anything like this happen. No idea how to correct it either.

The JPEG contains scene orientation data, but for the sake of backwards compatibility the browser doesn't honor it when displaying it inside webpages. You can fix it by rotating the JPEG and changing the orientation data. This tool will do it from right-click in Windows Explorer:

https://savolai.net/software/JPEG-EXIF_autorotate

I've tested it on Windows 10.
