Next-generation Isometric WRPGs

COMING SOON
Next Larian Project (2016?)
Torment: Tides of Numenera (Q4 2015)
Pillars of Eternity (Winter 2014)
Wasteland 2 (September 19th)

OUT NOW
Divinity: Original Sin

Let me know if I am missing any. (Not sure if I should also be including Shadowrun Returns.)

Out of all these, the only one that supports multiplayer is D:OS, and presumably Larian's next game (which by the way is hinted at in this blog post: http://www.lar.net/2014/09/12/thoughts- ... omes-next/). D:OS is the one that looks like the best overall to me, and Pillars of Eternity the worst. Wasteland and Torment both look awesome, but it's just hard to get too excited about a game in this genre that doesn't feature multiplayer anymore, considering for how long this feature has been almost standard in the genre.

What makes the inXile games stand out, on the other hand, are the settings. All the other games are set in cookie cutter fantasy settings, but inXile's settings have actual thought put into them.

Really excited to see if they will launch a new Kickstarter a few months after Wasteland 2 releases. I might even make it my first KS project purchase.
