Capcom seems to have leaked a high-definition remaster of Resident Evil Zero in the same vein of its upcoming Resident Evil HD remaster.

In an update to the Resident Evil HD remaster’s official website showcasing a special theme included with pre-orders of the PlayStation 4 version in Japan, the second image shows a Resident Evil Zero game icon on the PlayStation 4 menu.

Capcom Confirms Resident Evil 0 – Series Origins Story to be Remastered for New Platforms

Earlier today at an event in Japan, Capcom confirmed Resident Evil 0, a remastered version of the popular prequel to the original title in the Resident Evil series, is currently in development. The game is planned for release on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC in early 2016.

Original Resident Evil 0 Director Koji Oda and additional staff are returning for the development of this new remastered version. Capcom will be sharing more information on the title in the coming weeks.

Resident Evil Origins Collection Announced for PS4 & Xbox One

Resident Evil Origins Collection has been announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It is a physical release that will contain remastered versions of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil. It is set to launch on January 19th, 2016 for $39.99.

Resident Evil 0 will also be available to purchase individually online for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC, and will be priced at $19.99/£14.99/€19.99.

Capcom also announced a new Wesker Mode for Resident Evil 0 which will allow you to "experience the events leading up to the iconic mansion outbreak playing as alternative character Albert Wesker, alongside S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers". Both characters will feature special themed outfits in this mode.
