Narrative Event: Supply or Die

Unread postby recoil » 02 Mar 2025 07:41

This is the next chapter after Fight for Pyro. I'll be running this as Pyro Supreme Commander. The missions are open-ended in how we can accomplish them and shareable so we may want to head into Stanton, in which case, we can have icy run any operations there.

Check out the links below for the details of the event. My next post will explain who we are allying with.

Allying with Citizens for Prosperity

Unread postby recoil » 02 Mar 2025 08:07

I'm going with Citizens for Prosperity because I would like us to have the rewards since they match up well with Pyro's aesthetics and it would be nice to have our supply lines open again at Canard View. This means we may need someone to restore their reputation with CFP before we plan a big game during the weekend or maybe we have anyone with a good reputation share the mission with those stationed in Pyro.

As far as I could tell from the Spectrum thread, there doesn't seem to be any big differences in allying with the Headhunters. The rewards seem to be the same.

So the first reason you gave is basically null. Just sayin'. The second reason sounds cool though so no worries. Just pointing this out for your future strategy posts. Focus on the real/important reasons, and think through the entire post before you make it.

They do match well, but... they're yellow. And we're using silver/black for pirate paints. And we'll have a yellow Commander in the future, so he'll get them.

So basically we're allying with CfP at this stage to have our supply lines open again at Canard View, which sounds cool to me.

Regarding my orders for Stanton characters, I don’t have any different ones. I only did last time so we could get all the paints. This time the rewards are the same, so we all do what recoil said. And in the future if I don’t say anything it means everyone follows recoil’s orders. But if you have clones that aren’t stationed in Pyro, you can do the other path with them if you want. And again this applies in the future too.

Tip #1

Do the small deliveries. They reward A LOT more rep per SCU than the medium and especially the large ones.

I was doing the large deliveries of copper and corundum which take 334 SCU of each and reward 534 rep each. I then did a small delivery which takes 13 SCU of each and rewards over 200 rep.

That means the small deliveries reward 10x more rep per SCU! You can max out the rep and finish the event with under 200 SCU of each copper and corundum, which is less than one large delivery.

It does reward a bit less money (around 20% less per SCU) but you can keep doing the missions even after maxing out the rep, so if you just want to finish it as quickly as possible to make sure you don't miss out on the rewards, small deliveries are the way to go!

Guide

asmallman wrote:Supply or Die: Easy way to complete the event. How I completed it in 2-4 hours.

This is going to be short, sweet, and to the point.

Go get a bunch of corundum and copper, about 200-something SCU each. Specifically you need 182 each. But I'd get more in case of freight elevator bullshittery.

Right now everyone sees the high-SCU missions. Those are there to trick you. Do not do these. Even as a group.

You want to do the mission that turns in 13 SCU each of copper/corundum. Even when you share the mission among 4 people, the 391k/13 SCU mission for copper/corundum gives you 200 points each.

Doing just a FEW VHRTs you can complete the mission.

And we worked out the rep gain, the rep gain for the smaller missions is 7x more effective than it is for mediums. But the UEC you gain, in return, is only about 10 percent less (this is per SCU calculation).

So you do the priority mission about 7x faster, 10% UEC less effective, and you get the priority mission done in about 2-4 hours MAX.

Here is the quick guide:

1. Get 182+ copper and corundum each (I usually do about 200 each JUST in case). This is legit the longest part. 2-4 hours. The rest takes like 10 freakin' mins.

2. Do not accept missions yet. Put all copper/corundum on freight elevator.

3. Do not send it down yet.

4. Accept the 13 SCU copper/corundum mission.

5. Send elevator down.

6. Bring all copper/corundum you have left back up.

7. Accept new mission.

8. Send back down again.

9. Rinse/repeat up/down copper/corundum until rewards are all in.

10. Profit!

I fully completed Supply or Die for my main account and CULTCLONE-6.

CULTCLONE-2 and CULTCLONE-8 have completed the first score threshold, and are projected to complete the event before the end of the month.

Guys I’ve been editing your posts for this, but at this point everyone’s doing it so it’s best to just tell you not to do it: there’s no need to speak about “accounts” if you only have one account. “I finished the event” etc. will do.

I managed to complete Supply or Die for CULTCLONE-4 before 4.1 went live. I didn't manage to complete it for CULTCLONE-1, but he at least has the first two rewards.
