RAP Premium VLX

Image

http://www.hori.jp/products/multi/contr ... emium_vlx/

30,000 yen, two versions (360 and PS3).

Licenced by Taito to look like their Vewlix panels, just like Mad Catz's TE stick, and moreover seems to be functionally identical in many respects to the TE stick (check the opening mechanism and the compartment for storing the cable, for example...) so I guess they have Mad Catz's permission as well?

Strange stuff.

Wireless sticks for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, they work within a radius of about 10 meters. Both will be released on April 22.

Hori's own Fighting Edge (they didn't resort to Sanwa Denshi or Seimitsu components for this one): http://hori.jp/products/multi/fighting_ ... index.html

Hori Fighting Edge 3/EX:

3,5 kg. 19.800 YEN. Stick y botones Hori de nuevo diseño. 05/2012.

Great weight, and a big enough body to comfortably rest your wrists on it.

"Las huellas y el polvo se evidencian fácilmente -- la versión final incluirá una gamuza."

Sadly, it seems to get smudged easily. Because of this, it'll ship with a soft cloth.

HORI Real Arcade Pro.V4 Hayabusa Coming in May, Compatible with PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4

Here’s some great news for PlayStation 4 owners wanting looking for an arcade stick for their system. HORI Japan will be releasing the Real Arcade Pro.V4 Hayabusa in Japan and other Asian countries this coming May. The new stick will be compatible with both Sony’s latest console and its previous iteration, the PlayStation 3.

In addition, the HRAP.V4 will come equipped with HORI’s new Hayabusa lever and Kuro buttons, which were previously only available in their Fighting Edge line of arcade sticks.

The arcade stick is now up for pre-order at Play-Asia and AmiAmi. As for the price, it is currently listed at $189.99 on Play-Asia and $121 on AmiAmi. HORI has yet to announce any plans for an international release, so stay tuned to Shoryuken for further developments.

This is great because I've been wanting a PS3 stick for some time, and I wanted to try something else than Mad Catz. I've been on the fence about getting the HRAP V3 SA Kai for the past few weeks, but I recently found out about this here V4. With this, I'll be set for whenever I get a PS4.

Here's the RAPV4 Hayabusa's official page: http://www.hori.jp/products/ps4/ps4_rap_h/

There'll also be a slightly more expensive "silent" edition of the stick, which features some mechanisms that reduce the lever's and buttons' noise: http://www.hori.jp/products/ps4/ps4_rap_s/

I think that page says that the silent version will be an Amazon.co.jp-exclusive product.
