[360] Crackdown

feelingbetter, you might want to get a hold of this game to play it with me at some point. recoil and Somali Pirate have both finished it, so if we finish it too we can perhaps join them for 4-player Crackdown 2 later. What's your schedule look like? Can you play Saturdays or weekdays?

This game costs $2.99 at my local game store lol, so it certainly won't break my budget to grab a copy immediately.

That being said, I have a very chaotic yet flexible work schedule. At any given date I will know what my next three weeks will look like and what times I will be available. I live in New York, so it shouldn't be too hard to schedule gaming sessions being only five hours behind you.

Anyways, I'm totally free this Saturday and the following Wednesday if either of those days work for you. Perhaps the Saturday might work better for a group session of Lost Planet 2 though, considering my semi-conflict on Sunday?

Let's see what the others say about LP2 on Saturday. If they agree, perhaps we can play Crackdown on Sunday. If not, then definitely Wednesday. I've been looking forward to this game ever since trying the demo circa 2007. It looks really awesome. The sequel is apparently not as good, but how bad can 4-player free-roaming possibly be?

The crappy store in my neighborhood didn't have a copy of the game disc despite having four cases for it on the sales floor lol, so I'm buying a copy online ASAP. I'll let you know as soon as I get it. I noticed that it IS downloadable on Xbox Live, but it's three times the price and I've always preferred to own physical copies of games whenever possible.

I got it. Wednesday has become a little tricky for me, but I can do Thursday at 6:30PM my time again or Saturday during the day (from like 11AM - 5PM).

Let's put it off for next week if that's okay with you, because I want to put in some serious time overhauling and updating the site this week.

How about this weekend, either day is fine with me, starting 12 noon your time. We could play all day and finish the game, if you have the time, and then tackle Crackdown 2 next week with the others, if they are up for it.

Sounds great. I'm free all day Saturday so we should be able to make some serious progress if we start at noon. I can also do a shorter session on Friday starting at 4:30 PM my time for a couple of hours to gear us up for trying to take down the rest of the game the following day. I cannot do Sunday at all.

Let's just do Saturday for now, and if we need more time to finish it ahead of the next weekend, we can always schedule a shorter session for midweek next week. And make sure you have some food handy on Saturday for when we take a break!

My weekend is a bit of a mess. I can't do Saturday, and Sunday I can only do a couple hours at the most (starting at around 4:30 PM my time). Tuesday would be the next day I could commit to a serious session. I could also do Monday starting at 4:30 PM my time and would be able to go much later than on Sunday.

Let's leave it for late next week then or next weekend, because Monday and Tuesday will not work for me. I'll just play Bayonetta this weekend then. It's about time I finished it anyway.

Nope. And in fact I will only be able to do weekends for the next 2-3 weeks. Let me know if this weekend will work for you.

I can do Sunday starting at 4:30 PM my time. Saturday I won't be free to game until 7:30 PM.

Also, I'm moving to a new apartment in a couple of weeks (somewhere between March 10-15). Hopefully, we can beat this game before then because I might not be able to play for a little while until I figure some things out.

Sunday will work fine. We should be able to get 4-5 hours in before I have to turn in. As for the move, I am sure we'll be able to finish the game by then. Even if we don't, though, it's not going to be a big deal. It's not like the rest of us can move to the sequel without you. I'll just play something else with the others until you're back online.
