Looks very faithful aesthetically. Only the cutscenes are off. Not sure how Dotemu keeps managing this, but after SOR4 expectations are high. I wouldn't have high hopes though because Western teams really can't do good tactics games, at least not the small-scale J-tactics type. Not sure what "roguelike elements" means in this genre either. Probably grinding lol. The "indies" have debased the term to mean the opposite of what it was meant to. Never heard of the studio either. They have two random genre games on Steam. They probably think tactics games are easy to make lol. I expect this to be a 3/5 at best.

Seems to be only on PC for now.

If "roguelike elements" means randomized stages, the game will definitely suck. These games have 10-20 stages and they have to be very carefully designed down to the placement of every single unit to provide a solid tactical challenge. Randomizing these levels will work even worse than randomizing platformer levels, since tactics is a more complex thing than jumping lol. Take a look at all the Western tactics games Insomnia has trashed in recent years, and bad level design is the common complaint. And now they won't do any design at all lol? How is that supposed to improve things?
