Here are a few breathtaking landscapes from Seiklus.

(yes, the player is standing on an invisible platform in that third screenshot)

Any self-respecting videogame player shouldn't have to read this review after taking a single glance at those screenshots. Regardless, I'm here to say that the rest of the game - what little there is - doesn't disappoint.

Seiklus is an open-world platforming game wherein the object is to collect 600 randomly-scattered orbs evenly distributed across six equally bland areas. There are no hazards. There are no enemies. There are no puzzles. There is no time limit. There is no challenge. There is nothing besides the boundless joy of seeing every inch of the environments pictured to collect the stupid floating orbs.

The only part of the game that appears to have actual effort put into it would be the chiptune soundtrack which varies from "fittingly dull" to "just irritating enough to keep me awake". Unsurprisingly, the creator of Seiklus had found these tracks freely available on the Internet.

I felt retarded playing this game.
