I'll be good to go on Friday at 10:30PM UTC until whenever we get tired. This Sunday I won't be able to make it though.

Sorry guys, won't be available at all this weekend due to family stuff. Next weekend I will be, though.

I can probably play this weekend. I have Monday off too so that makes Sunday UTC a possibility. When can you guys play?

Unless there is some kind of rebellion, this weekend is Rust weekend. See Rust thread.

I think it's for everyone's good. Instead of dividing ourselves to play several little games, every once in a while I will declare an MMO weekend where we can all come together and play one game as a big group.

Just wanted to remind people of this, on re-reading the review:

UpInFlames wrote:All loot is random, which can lead to some crazy playthroughs. It's perfectly possible to have almost no chance of winning anymore, because you only found crap or you used all items.

How about we try to continue the game on weekdays? I'd like to see if it's possible to reserve my weekends for MMOs.

It's too late for me, unfortunately. Around 10PM UTC is the latest I could start on a weekday and still get a few hours of gaming in.

Maybe sometime next week? Or the week after?

If it's not convenient for everyone, we could play on alternate Sundays.

I think I can start at 10 PM UTC and play for four or five hours at least once a week on most weeks. I won't be able to next week because I'm moving, but I should have all my computer stuff set up in my new place by the week after.

The earliest I can do is 12:30AM UTC on weekdays, but I wouldn't mind alternating Sundays.

Looks like that's what we'll have to do. Let me think about how I will handle MMOs, and I'll get back to you guys. I am trying to find a formula where smaller games don't cannibalize our numbers for MMOs on weekends, and it looks like the only way is some alternating scheme.

I am, yeah. I'm still limited hardware-wise (financial and other setbacks in the previous months, still no decent PC at my place). That being said I'll see if I can run it on my laptop and try to make time for you guys.

Sweet, works on my laptop (tested for five minutes or so in single-player). I can play potentially any day depending on the time.

At the moment I can only play Wednesday from 4:30PM UTC onwards or Thursday 2:30PM UTC onwards next week. I will be trying to swap a shift with someone at work so I might be able to play at other times. I will keep you guys updated.

Saf, I'd be happy to have you on our team, but only if you can reassure us that you will definitely have time to finish this game. I only ask because I haven't seen you online playing games for several months and you mentioned above that you've had some life setbacks recently.

The game requires quite a time commitment, and it really sucks for the whole group if one person can't play often enough to keep it going, not to mention if they have to drop out completely and force everyone to start again. This has already happened twice to Rory, who's been trying to complete the game for nearly two years. So, please let us know in advance if you don't think you'll be able to spend at least six or so hours a week playing, and we'll try to find someone else.

Hey Robo, completely understand, especially since you've had people drop out and have been forced to restart the game. I'm committed to seeing it through. I'm not sure if I can make six hours a week though, is at least 4-5 hours a week a sufficient commitment? Because I can do that. The main issue is I have work weekdays, and it may get too close to work time if I play six - weekends I can easily do 6+. Let me know if that's reasonable, and if so, I promise not to quit on us.

On second thoughts, Saf, sorry to have gotten your hopes up, but we've discussed it amongst ourselves and decided that it would be better for us to start the game with someone we know for sure is reliable. I hope you don't take this personally. You say that we will be able to count on you, and I'm inclined to believe you, but the problem is that starting one of these games with someone who is essentially an unknown is such a risk in terms of personal time investment, and we don't really want to take that risk again.

Hopefully in future you'll start playing games regularly with us, and prove your reliability that way.

Fair enough, and no worries, I haven't been around for a while. No hard feelings or anything, I'm sure I'll get to play it eventually.
