I can do Sunday at 7PM. I'm not sure about Saturday, but I will probably be free at 10:30PM.

Sunday for sure then. I'll also be online on Saturday from 7 playing PA, so if everyone shows up at 10:30 I'll switch to D:OS.

So THM and I were chatting on the Twitch stream and we both think the game is a bit too easy. Apparently the difficulty drops considerably after the first act, even if we don't use consumables. Larian is planning on adding a hardcore mode to the game so we could wait until they add in this new difficulty level and then either restart the game or just pick up where we left off. THM and I are comfortable with either option. jeff and ksevcov, what do you two think?

I would be down to restart the campaign. I wonder what the new mode will entail... "Hardcore" sometimes implies permadeath.

And, I just want to point out that part of what is making the game easy is our save/reloading habits. If we never did that, we would be losing money on scrolls, and we'd be losing experience from when we were dead. Our characters would be lower level and less wealthy. That said, I don't think it would fix the problem entirely.

There's no way a 60-hour WRPG would get a permadeath mode.

I don't want to restart the campaign, and I don't want to switch the difficulty mid-game. Let's continue as is.

Ok guys, the enhanced edition should be out later today which means that we can finally get back into this! I can play this week though I'm not really available on Friday or Saturday and potentially Sunday too.

Now, I'd like to play the game the same way as the other group has, with no potions/resurrection scrolls etc. I can't remember if everyone else in the group wanted to play like that though, so if we can't agree on how to play maybe we should split the group up and get some new people to join us.

So ksevcov hasn't visited Insomnia since early October and his Steam account has disappeared, I'm not sure if he can play with us at the moment. Does anyone have his e-mail address?

I think we can assume that he is unable to play with us so it looks like there's an opening for a new player. Jeff, THM - what do you guys think?

Ok well if anyone else is interested in joining us feel free to post here. I remember CTF saying he was interested in the game and I think icy even gave him first dibs on an open slot in their team so he could join us.

So I'd really like to jump back into this. Jeff, the enhanced edition is available on Macs now. Last time we were playing this we had some disagreements over how to play (using or not using resurrection scrolls or potions and such). I want to play with these restrictions but if anyone else doesn't want to that's fine, we can form two separate Divinity groups.

Let me just say that the autists from LTC misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying that I generally avoid using items when I reasonably can, not that I am playing with any hard restrictions in order to post a video of a "no-item" run on YouTube. In the last stages of a game I even use ALL of the items back-to-back, since the game is about to be over, and of course they won't be useful to me after that. The only reason I refrain from using items is because I am afraid the game is not balanced well enough and I might end up against the last boss without e.g. a healing scroll left, and thus perhaps reach an unwinnable state and be forced to start all over. So I simply play every battle without using items, except if the battle ends up being too hard. If I am stuck somewhere, and replay a battle say half a dozen times, and there seems no other way for me to pass it, then I use an item.

Also, we've lost Kirill and Qpo, so we are now six people who want to form two teams of four... It won't be easy. Each team has to find one new player to complete the party.
