Release June 17.

That’s a Thursday, exactly two weeks after the Rust June wipe. So plenty of time to play both.

Note that as far as I know this will be a first-person 4X game with territory control, no wipes (or at least very rare wipes like once a year, which is actually better than no wipes).

I would like to get my living situation sorted in time so I can play both games. I think I should be able to swing it. This could end up being a very important game, and it’d be great to get in on the ground floor. Well, relatively speaking, because a few hundred or thousand people have participated in a bunch of tests and know the game by now.

Let us know if you’re excited for this and plan to participate. I want CULT to play even if I am not in, but I will do whatever I can to be in.


P.S. It’s hard to look for news on this game on Twitter due to Musk’s Starbase hogging all the attention.

Looks like it’s gonna be a good one. These devs don’t fuck around. The game is releasing with a year and a half delay. It was initially scheduled for December 2019 iirc.

So it’s good we bought Strive then. We’ll play the fuck out of that while I dig in and prepare to relaunch D&D Battlegrounds around the end of this month. Then July 1 is a Thursday and we are playing the new Rust wipe. And then hopefully August will be Starbase month. We have a busy summer.
