So I ended up going through a deepdive on the so called "BrOSR" which just seems to be AD&D1e played RAW with an autistic adherence to the whole "one day in the real world equals one in-game day" rule Gygax used to keep track of time for large, open table campaigns. Now this sounds cool as a fun little experiment and whatnot but trying to dig through the "BrOSR" community they seem to all be autistically obsessed about keeping the rules one to one with what's written in the original AD&D books with no deviation or house-ruling allowed, which is extra funny when you realise that Gygax just played house-ruled OD&D and that AD&D was written partially so he wouldn't have to pay royalties to Arneson, and partially to facilitate D&D tournament play. On top of this the BrOSR community also seem to be crazy Catholics which makes the whole thing even more bizarre. Like what the actual fuck is going on here?

I found this thread because I am mentioned at some point.
