Note that since we’re running four groups, and possibly more in future, we’ll run out of content faster than these guys, roughly four times faster right now. But that’s still half a decade at least. Way more if you try to do all the one-off adventures too. And by then PF2 will be where PF1 is now—in content at least, because in complexity it will probably always be lower.

I'm assuming what you mean to when the GM rewards player teamwork and coordination? In which case, that's not the discussion here. 1e had a type of Feats called Teamwork Geats which, when taken by more than one PC, allowed for unique interactions and bonuses. The Cavalier and Inquisitor class capitalized on these by allowing the Cavalier to grabt another party member one or more of their Teamwork Feats, and the Inquisitor being able treat any party member as having it for the sake of their own use. The idea was interesting, but seemingly not well received. Likely because much of the fan base didn't like having to dedicate two PCs Feats to utilizing them, or be forced to play as either Class to make them work otherwise. That and, let's be frank, a lot of TTRPG players aren't really known for their coordination and cooperation outside of the occasional instance where it happens naturally.

I for one quite liked the idea, but do mostly agree that it wasn't utilized that well. I think 2e's Action Economy could really help it shine by adding more than just static statistic and skill bonuses like many of them did. There were some that did some neat things, like being able to use an adjacent as a conduit to deliver a touch spell or being able to both act during a surprise round. I think they could real be expanded on by adding special actions and attacks. Could also add build trees for Classess that utilize companions like and allow those players to utilize them with their Animal Companions, Eidolons, or Familiars. I hope they see a return in 2e. But, I'm not holding my breathe.
