That trailer is nuts, screens don't do this game justice. Just look at the depth and detail of the backgrounds in that flying ship level. No wonder it got Recap excited. Most wanted game for sure.

Can't wait to see more characters. Especially ones that aren't blue. Granred Fantasy, pls?

Even though I imported the HK version I'll probably double dip and get this on steam too. The netplay is solid on PS4 so I imagine the PC version will be really good unless the port is really bad. Which I don't have any reason to believe will happen.
They did a good job making the game fun for people with little to no FG experience while still having depth for veteran/tournament players.
I'm not familiar with the source material at all, but all the characters are all beautiful and well animated with a variety of styles so there will pretty much be someone for everyone.
The source material is a browser/mobile gacha game so there will be plenty of waifus characters for DLC. There are 11 launch characters, five more coming for season 1 of DLC, and have planned on doing at least 3 seasons of DLC.

Kinda sucks that it doesn't have rollback netcode. That will limit our matchups if many of the clan end up getting it.

CULT|Effay
Yeah, it sucks. The PS4 netplay is considerably better then GG Rev2 or DBFZ at least.
I'll let you guys know how it is.

At €34,99 it's quite expensive, but I love the game so I'll bite. I already spent I think €80 on it, but it's worth it. I need to play more of it, and I will after I've put some time in the superior Samurai Spirits reboot.

I don't see any additional stages though, which is a shame. The game could use a few more stages. I hope they add some in.

Bought two new characters and a new stage that have come out:

Additional Character Set (Vira & Avatar Belial) €9,99

Additional Stage (Dydroit Belt) €3,99

Kinda generic stage, but whatever, I'll take anything at this point. Maybe the music will be good, if there's music included with it. The game's music in general is great. The stages too are great, but there's just not enough of them.

Gone are the days when every character had his own stage. What was the game that changed this? I must have missed that episode. And if the stages are so cheap it must mean they are easy to make, so why not make DLC for all the extra ones they left out? I'd buy all of them in a heartbeat, at 3x the price even. Bah.

Anyway, I love this game. I am looking forward to seeing it at 4K.

I also bought weapon skin sets for my main characters. It's just one euro for a set, and they can be quite different: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1867 ... et_Eustace €0,99

If I am gonna be nickel-and-dimed, this is the way to do it.

I'll be playing later tonight.

The game by itself by the way has been lowered to €19,99 so there's no excuse for not owning it. I paid I think it was €80 for it at launch with the Season Pass.
