I melted my Freelancer and STV to upgrade my Carrack to a Hercules Starlifter A2.

That’s a great upgrade for you. The Carrack doesn’t have pirate paints and is anyway an expedition vehicle that we were using as capital ship before the Polaris came out. It has little usefulness now until they add exploration mechanics, whereas the A2 can be used in a multitude of piracy scenarios and is moreover the largest vehicle with pirate paint afaik. It’s basically your mobile HQ. No wait that’s the 890J Meridian which we were supposed to be grinding for lol. Actually I just learned some quick moneymaking techniques so I’ll post them in the hopes they motivate us to grind for the 890.

I want to follow up your purchase with some commentary, and we’re supposed to report capital ship acquisitions there anyway. As I reported in the Cult Capital Fleet thread [ > ], I've melted most of my fleet and bought the Praetorian Pack. I left one of each of the ATLS, ATLS GEO, and CSV-CM unmelted, and I still have my F8C Concierge reward. So far, I've applied the following upgrades (with more to come):

Just a quick note to say I appreciate ysignal's upgrades, especially the Asgard and Starlancer MAX and TAC so that we have access to I think everything released at Invictus (shubn bought an MTC that he hasn't reported yet if I am not mistaken, so we have that too).

And also, I think Rory and Exiled are the only ones of us who don't have F7s? They can go ahead and drain the bank to buy them if they want.

Melted some gear and upgraded my Scorpius Antares to the Guardian MX. That's the only Invictus 2025 vehicle we didn't get, and now we have it.
