Millions are nothing, some people are billionaires. You can make 600k an hour within your first hour or two of logging into the game. In the current event, making 6m per hour is a reasonable endeavor if you have a couple people.

If money ever held you back, you're missing out rn. I started playing a month ago for the first time ever and had 6 mil to buy a Firebird in a couple days.

Do whatever you need to get 30k. Rent a Hull A for a day. Load up on starter cargo missions going from Baijini to A18. You can get 6 of them for 50k each. It's a one-stop one-way trip and takes roughly 30 minutes. You can make 600k an hour this way. It's braindead but very effective and the easiest way to make starter money.

I used mine to buy a Firebird and grind bounty hunter rep to MRTs. I then went to Pyro to run MRTs for 90k each. It takes me like 5 minutes per bounty, I was clearing 1 mil per hour. I used that to buy other ships like a Vulture etc. and that allowed me to make big big boy money (tens of millions) from the fight for Pyro event. Unfortunately that event is almost over, but the first two methods I listed are eternal and viable money makers.

Now compare that to chaining VHRT bounties or Gilly Mission #7 at 3.3mil auec to 4.1mil auec per hour... 10x difference... not even a discussion.

Gilly missions #6 and #7 pay 151k and 200k for a Constellation and Hammerhead respectively. They can be chained quickly in an Idris-M: one- or two-shot the main target, then wait for your PDCs to kill the escorts while you accept the next contract. It takes longer in an Idris-K (really Idris-P with K kit, but you know what I mean) because the laser has a bug where it stops dealing damage to parts of the hull that are already damaged, so you aren't dealing any damage most of the time, and so the K is less ideal than the M, but it's still a lot of aUEC per hour. I'm guessing that a Constellation or Corsair with Attritions could also chain mission #6 easily.
