So let's see who can play XenoThreat this week. I am available Friday 10 PM UTC, Saturday 1 PM or 10 PM, and Sunday 1 PM or 10 PM. Give me as many slots as you can so we can find the one with the most people. No Battlegrounds this weekend so we can focus on this.

This is the only event we haven't played yet. My understanding is that it's a mix of ground and space, or at least if not ground, then boarding action. These are promo pics for the event:

I figure it'll be a great way to kickstart the new season with a brand-new event for us that will also hopefully put some credits in our bank account to splurge on some new ships.

It'll be Saturday 10 PM guys.

I'll have a think on what kind of ships we'll take. I have to look at what the mission entails. And we'll need gear. I'll need to update the loadouts with the latest changes shubn suggested, so look out for those. Ideally we'll all be geared up well before the date. Don't forget you'll also have to make your character and post the face on Discord. Try to make as close to your last character as possible, and certainly distinct from everyone who's posted before you. We don't have much time to get all this done. Worst case scenario we spend the first hour doing this on Saturday.

Just a heads up that I won't be able to do any combat flying (including combat drops) as my wrist is still healing. But I can do cargo and transport flights plus all the FPS stuff.

Can you be someone’s gunner?

When you say FPS do you mean also FPS combat? Because it seems to me that FPS combat would be more strainful than gunner combat.

FPS combat should be fine, same with gunner duty. It's just the twist axis on the right joystick that's still an issue.

Greetings, pilots! Jumptown is reopening its doors once again this weekend, but you might notice a few key differences from the last time you visited!

We’ve upgraded the Jumptown dynamic event further with a myriad of improvements. These new labs have a totally redesigned interior, reimagined as a circular floorplan that conveniently comes with fewer doors, making for better sightlines and shooting lanes. A second dispenser can also be found for more expedient drug production. The entire operation has doubled in size, with a second entrance and multiple windows and skylights to make ambushes hard to come by for those hunkered down inside as well as those attempting a breach from outside.

Jumptown 2.1 kicks off on May 5 at 9 AM Pacific / 4 PM UTC!

The event will run until May 9 at 1 PM Pacific / 8 PM UTC, with the locations of the drug labs rotating every 24 hours. Keep an eye out for more details on Jumptown going live alongside the event, and we'll see you there! Keep an eye on your ramps!

Fuck. And I was just in the middle of scheduling the Battlegrounds games.

I cancelled all campaigns this weekend to play Jumptown. Tell me which slots you can make it. Choices are Friday 10 PM UTC, Saturday 1 or 10 PM, and Sunday 1 or 10 PM. The more slots you give me, the better our chances of getting everyone in the same slot. As usual, we're only playing one slot to maximize participation!

We're gonna need an A2 and a few Atlas platforms. I am jumping in to play in 15 mins. Join me and lets make some credits!

Can't wait to see the upgraded Jumptown!

Alright guys, we have 7 and we’re playing Saturday 10 PM UTC. Make sure you have set your home to Area18 and that you are there at the start time, with at least 3-4 sets of gear. 5 is better. And make sure you are WEARING it at the start. We don’t want to waste any time waiting for anyone. And you’ll need extra money for expedited reclaim because the timers and money were recently increased substantially. Or is that only for 3.19? Either way, factor in that you’ll need money to reclaim your vehicles if you want to play more than one life.

And we could use an A2 and some Atlas platforms. 6 million is the minimum for that. If we don’t get it, we can still play with our Carracks and some Cyclones, but it wouldn’t be ideal.

Since I only managed to schedule one Pathfinder session this weekend, it’s a great opportunity to play Ghost Hollow right after it dropped. Who can play Saturday 10 PM UTC? It seems to be our most popular time slot, so I won’t bother trying out different ones for this weekend. I will be playing at that time, even if no one can make it. If I am alone, or with say just another person, I’ll mosey on over there and hide in the trees and take potshots at people, and mostly just scope the area out for future tactical planning. But if we get several people in, we’ll go in heavy with the Carrack and multiple gear outfits per person and try to dominate the scene, and hopefully make back some of the money that shubn (and probably more of us) lost with 3.19.

I can’t wait! It sounds like a brand-new Jumptown in a friggin forest!

If you’re coming, make sure you have at least 5 spec outfits/lives! Ask for money on Discord if you need it, and make sure you are fully geared up in Area18 at 10:00 PM sharp!
