Nintendo wrote:Originally released for the Game Boy™ system more than 25 years ago, one of the most beloved games in the Legend of Zelda series returns.

In this modern re-imagining, players travel to the mysterious island of Koholint to guide Link on a perilous adventure. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening arrives exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2019.

I played the original version and this looks like it's just a graphical upgrade.

Graphics look cute. But I wonder if Nintendo is ever going to emerge from this weird fetishist obsession with "textured remakes". At this point, we've had 2.5D origami, papier mâché, cardboard cutouts, clay-like goo for this Zelda... Do we HAVE to have a Link to the Past in scrunched aluminum foil sheets, or could we just move on with BotW2 or something, so I don't feel like such a fag buying a Switch?
