The previous games always looked like a decent set of co-op games and now they're up to the fourth in the series, that's a lot of catching up to do and now this fourth one has 4-player co-op.

Anyone played any Trines?
They seem to be super simplistic puzzle platformers, and super easy

CULT|Agentx
Oh, the games where you alternate between three characters? I believe that was more or less my experience with the first one, but it's been years since I played. I lost interest before finishing it, I believe.

CULT|Robomoo
Me, Sergei and Infern played I think Trine 2 together a few years ago. They're pretty good fun for a short while with 3 people, and very pretty.

CULT|Hanged Man
Yeah

CULT|Agentx
You can actually play with multiple people?

CULT|Robomoo
Yeah. That way definitely brings the best out of the games.

CULT|Agentx
Is it still taking turns between which character is in action?

CULT|Robomoo
No, everyone can move at the same time
It's the perfect game to choose if your group of 4 loses a player and you're searching for someone else, but 3 of you still have time to meet once a week

CULT|Hanged Man
Yeah I think that's what we played when Rory wasn't available for Dying Light

CULT|icycalm
3/5 or 4/5?
I am asking because I am about to post a Trine 4 review

CULT|Hanged Man
It was enjoyable enough for me that I'd play another one of those games. 4/5, but only if with friends.

CULT|Robomoo
With a full team I'm tempted to give it 4/5, but they are pretty simple games. They don't have any real challenge, you can just blast through them in a couple of hours and have a few laughs.

CULT|icycalm
Btw the difference between 3/5 and 4/5 is that a 3/5 game can be decent fun but you're not missing out on much if you don't play it, whereas with a 4/5 game it means you're missing out

CULT|Hanged Man
Then 3 I guess

CULT|Robomoo
Yeah
Btw Trine 1 didn't have multiplayer, which explains why we started with 2 and why Agentx didn't know about it

CULT|icycalm
And 4 is 4-player

CULT|jeffrobot494
Trine 1 has local multiplayer.
