Notice full name is "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jong", though. It's a mah-jong based off that anime series.
Or if they didn't want players to credit feed, since basic design choices all point to COIN OP.

"Jong" sounds Chinese. Are you sure? My dictionary gives me:

雀 【すずめ】 (n) sparrow (Passeriformes order); (P); EP

It's the kanji for "jong" in "mah-jong", check it out. This is one of those words which conventionally keeps the Chinese transliteration, though you could write it "Jan", if you feel like it.

First time I've come across this. I'll go with "Jong" for now I suppose.

I also uploaded the rest of the scans on Kobayan, and it seems the game is running on a new board, the "System Board Y2", whatever that is...
