The Japanese title is ダンボール戦機 and ボール means either "ball" or "bowl", or can occasionally be used as an abbreviation for "board". All other sites have transliterated it as "boru", giving the full title as "Danboru Senki", which is clearly nonsense. So until we figure out which of the meanings is meant I simply transliterated it character by character as "Danbooru Senki".

From what I gather from these cutscene images, the idea seems to be very similar to a very old anime I used to watch when I was like 10 or so, where kids would pit their tiny remote-controlled mechas against each other. Though I would except there to be some action in a game with such a set-up, they are calling this an "RPG", which, looking also at the following screens, probably means pure strategy.
