From what I gather from these cutscene images, the idea seems to be very similar to a very old anime I used to watch when I was like 10 or so, where kids would pit their tiny remote-controlled mechas against each other. Though I would except there to be some action in a game with such a set-up, they are calling this an "RPG", which, looking also at the following screens, probably means pure strategy.

Interestingly, there's going to be a mobile version coming this year, before the projected 2010 release of the PSP version.
