There's a new game coming to PlayStation Vita from Acquire, and its about a mythical creature that uses magical brushes to summon spells and manipulate the surrounding environment. And no, it's not a port of Okami.
Sumioni is a 2D action game starring a red demon granted with special ink powers that allow him to create platforms, summon creatures and cast elemental spells by drawing symbols. Aside from his ink powers, the demon protagonist is also equipped with a sword for his main attacks, a double jump and one seriously bad sunburn.

Looks like that DS game by Yuji Naka that came out a while ago crossed with side-view action mechanics. Visually, it's interesting, but nothing jaw-breaking. Nothing the PSP couldn't have handled, either. Acquire sure is into handhelds these days though, eh?
