Battle Worlds: Kronos has met its $120k funding goal on kickstarter, with about 30 days to go to reach stretch goals. It's a promising looking tactics game inspired by the Battle Isle or Advance Wars series. That means military units and deterministic mechanics. I didn't know you were into this kind of game, Ronan. I sort of assumed you were only into arcade games, for some reason. I think I remember you originally coming here from some place like NeoArcadia or the French site Shmup.com, and you never really post about games, so I made that assumption.

Also, the funding campaign has ended, reaching its first two stretched goals, which means that an additional mini-campaign with rail-bound units (!) will be added, and that the game will be ported to iOS and Android tablets. Achievements will also be implemented...


As for the games I am interested in, Alex, I do enjoy playing different genres, but I must admit that I am an expert in none. For instance, my experience in turn-based tactical games is pretty much limited to Final Fantasy Tactics, Advance Wars, and currently Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken. (And I will have to come back to Advance Wars because I have realized that I somehow missed its Advance Campaign.
