Set in the 18th century during the Seven Years War, Rogue completes the North America saga that began with Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. From loyal Assassin brother to the Templar’s favored hunter, Shay will travel through the arctic North Atlantic Ocean, the Appalachian River Valley and a bustling New York City on his mission to destroy the Assassins.
In addition to the new environments, Shay will have access to some never-before-seen weapons as well as a new ship, The Morrigan, to help him take on threats on the open ocean with the return of naval gameplay.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue is being developed by Ubisoft Sofia, in collaboration with Ubisoft’s Singapore, Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu, Milan and Bucharest studios, and will release exclusively on Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 11 globally (November 12 for France).

- New enemy tactics: Defend yourself from Assassins as they attempt to board your ship and overthrow your crew. Fight them off quickly to avoid losing too many crew members.
- New weapons: Including burning oil, which leaves a trail of fire behind to burn enemy ships, and the puckle gun, capable of delivering continuous machine-gun-like fire.
- An arctic world full of possibilities: Ram through ice sheets to discover hidden locations and use icebergs as cover during naval battles.
Shay’s story will allow you to explore three unique environments:
- The North Atlantic Ocean Experience the cold winds and towering icebergs of the arctic in this expansive naval playground
- The River Valley A large hybrid setting of the American Frontier mixing seamless river navigation and ground exploration
