I got into AC with AC 4Answer (once I'd reconfigured the horrid default control scheme to something more servicable, that is) and guess what? It's not half bad! I had more fun with mecha customisation than anything else, mind you, but the big boss fights were suitably awesome to behold (although Cacky seems to think there'll be less of that in 5, suggesting a return to AC of old's more grounded approach).
Comes out this year, in Japan at least. I'm consistently amazed by how AC games seemingly get snapped up for localization in the west, because they've never struck me as performing particularly well at retail. The smart money goes on Ubi since they handled the last two, but who knows?
Anyway, I'm excited! Sorta.
Mecha Damashii, by the way, is looking pretty great now -- at least as far as blogs go. It's certainly one of the best gaming blogs I am aware of -- working fine and looking great.
ACV is looking great too, and comes out January 26 in J-land.
