The top-right image is stunning and looks exactly like what I'd want a 4K JSR to look like. The video looks fantastic.
Problem is, it's 2023, and nowadays I'd expect an open-world JSR with the entirety of Tokyo rendered, and a mangaka brought in to write the story, and non-linear missions etc. But the Japs would never be that ambitious. They don't even play open-world games, let alone make them. So we'll get the same game we played a quarter century ago, and if we're lucky they might add a bit of complexity to it. Meanwhile any major White studio would be doing what I say they should be doing. Ubisoft would for sure be doing it, and even many B studios would.
Still, 4K JSR on a projector in 2023 will still be a fun weekend, so I am in. Don't forget that the original is in Insomnia's GOTY feature, and we already have a great review of the game on the site (and I plan to write an even better one myself).
