Just a heads-up that not all maps you can buy in-game are legit. Obviously some are more accurate and detailed than others, that's easy enough to tell when you compare several versions of the same map. But even better from my perspective is that people have been drawing for their own campaigns maps for regions which Paizo hasn't mapped yet, or maps which GMs made before Paizo mapped the region. So I can sell you those maps, and they'll be bunk. It could be an 8K map and still be bunk. Generally, the further you are from a region, the rougher the maps for it that you can procure will be, and they may even be entirely bunk.

I just downloaded some of those, that's why the warning.

It will be a waste of money AND time, if you buy and follow a bunk map, and potentially dangerous.
