I streamed the first two hours here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbAuebKfnJgI’ve definitely seen more compelling openers, here it’s a walk through a canyon with dialogue from the main characters giving you bits and pieces of what’s happening to them. No guns blazing, no apocalypse, no giant robots burning down villages. All a bit underwhelming and some bland character designs and some wooden animations don’t help its cause. On the bright side, the music is pretty good and the combat system is more compelling. It definitely isn’t braindead like some other JRPGs and seems to have some legs. I’m a bit hopeful that past the first two hours there will be bigger battles and more complex environments to fight in, though I’m ambivalent about continuing the game.
As for being in Early Access, I haven’t run into any major game-breaking bugs, but several minor issues. I’ve encountered brief moments of slowdown, characters clipping through and getting stuck on things, audio desyncs, the same tutorials popping up several times, quest markers irrelevant to the current quest, and the main character, Daryon, getting cloned in a cutscene. icy did mention in the stream chat that the Twitch plugin wasn’t working and that there may be some major slowdown past the two-hour mark. I went a little over two hours and the game was still running fine, but my stream seemed to be hitting lower FPS.
