Here's what I've got:

For all sites with the word 'game' in their names, the 'g' is replaced by an 'l'. i.e. GameSpot becomes LameSpot, GameSpy becomes LameSpy, etc. That takes care of 90% of gaming websites.

Eurogamer is an exception: it becomes Euroidiot.

Shmups.com becomes Shmucks.com.

Famitsu becomes Fanitsu.

Etc. etc.

Note that from now on all these sites will be referred to using their alternate names on Insomnia. So help me come up with more of those.

For example I could really use alternate names for Kotaku, Joystiq and Siliconera right now...

Also, YouTube becomes Your Tub, even thought it's not exactly a "gaming website". I mean it practically is anyway, with all those self-styled reviewers and whatnot.

sKrotakum and Jokestiq have a rich, almost robust ring to them. I've never really spent any amount of time at those sites, so I'm not sure if those names are fitting judgments*. But I'd be a liar if I said I didn't chuckle to myself while saying/writing them ;)

*Not that it'd be my place to judge them anyhow.

All I've got is "Ko-takuramu"(企む), Which probably doesn't work on any level besides the one inside my head. Especially because people who don't speak japanese can't get it and even people who do probably won't.

And there's always Joydick, but that's too easy. Also if you said "Your Tub" I don't think I'd get it(I don't think I do now), but I think "SpewTube" is pretty funny.
