Nobody has brought this up so far (not a big RPG crowd?), but I can happily say that I just received the LE release of Persona 3. The art book, which caused the game to be a bit delayed, turned out to be well worth the wait. No softcover mushy stuff - Atlus went for a hardcover that makes the whole thing look more like a children's book. Nice touch. The book, game, and soundtrack are packaged in a nice cardboard art box, though the Japanese cover art is still a helluva lot better. What a shock.

The soundtrack is, as expected, suitably fucking nuts in that uniquely Japanese way. I kinda like it, but I feel dirty admitting it.

I haven't gotten to sit down and play yet (finishing up Rogue Galaxy), but has anyone played the Japanese release? The translation of the first two Persona games was a little meh at times, so I'm really hoping the localization is lacking some of the corny Americanization.
