Hello everybody,

Due to the raising number of collectors of factory sealed games, some friends and I thought that it would be time to open up a own forum for this guys (the forum exists 17 days).

http://forum.sealedgameheaven.com
http://www.sealedgameheaven.com

The registration is also very easy and in english...I think you don't have any problems with it. Otherwise send me a PM.

Hope to see some of you guys there. You can also post your sealedcollection in the designated section (Sony, Sega, Nintendo, Microsoft, others e.g. Atari, PCE...)

The forum is also for guys who are interested in this type of collecting games

See you here or there

best greetings,

SealedCollector

I have to disagree with you there. I think everyone should do what someone else likes.

My games get unwrapped, then the box and manual get tossed somewhere and inevitably get lost. So my game collection is just a big pile of disks in drawers. Must by some CD suitcases! :)

Careful there, I think the mental picture of your game collection could give our friend here seizures.

The only games I have sealed right now are Ikaruga DC JP and Akumajo Dracula X PSone Books. I'm planing to sell Ikaruga though and spend the money to buy XBL things.

I open my games even when I'll probably spend an evening with them. I'm just so curious about the manual and the artwork on the disc. I think most "collectors" of sealed games actually hope to sell their wares infuriatingly high regardless of the game quality some time in the distant future.

The only sealed games I have in my collection are games I have purchased new and yet to open. I would never go out of my way to get a mint game, unless it was the only way it was available. A few Game.com games were won like this.

The only sealed games I have right now are Psychonauts and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, PAL PS2 releases. The former I bough only for collection because I finished it on PC, the latter, well.... I never got to play it.

Icy, we found out on another forum that this guy is just running a business (send your sealed games to him for appraisal, fucking lol) not a place for fans of shrinkwrap to gather. I suggest you get rid of him once and for all.

I checked his site again. It seems that it started out as a place for people to discuss/trade/etc. sealed games, and now that it has become (relatively) well-known he has suddenly turned it into a business.

Now while I realize many of his ex-forum members might be disappointed by this change, I don't really see anything wrong with it. It's his site after all and he can do whatever the hell he wants with it. As for this thread, well, his site offers a game-related service, and if he wants to maintain a thread in this forum in order to advertise it, I have no problem with that. It's only a thread after all.

Two new features for all sealed game collectors out there:

100% free video game auction platform called http://www.sealedgameauctions.com (even for used games). I think it's a good alternative to high ebay fees!

Free sealed game encyclopedia where everyone can add some content:
