Insert Credit and others announced a Samurai Spirits compilation over a year ago, but the project is apparently still alive and kicking, as SNK Playmore USA has announced Samurai Shodown Anthology for PS2 and Wii.

6 titles from the series are expected to be included, but that also means that either Samurai Spirits Zero, Samurai Spirits Zero Special, or Samurai Spirits: Tenkaichi Kenkakuden will be omitted.
