NOO! The GBA sprites look so stylish why would they pull such a shameless act?!

this almost makes me cry :(

is IS actually in charge of this? it's hard to believe, if so. they've never dropped a game with less-than-gorgeous visuals. why would they start now? perhaps nintendo is now farming out their series games to u.s. devers like konami did with silent hill 5.

Yes, that was the first thing I checked. Both this and the new Famicom Wars games are made by Intelligent Systems. I don't believe they'll ever let go of these franchises.

Okay, read in another forum that this is a remake of the first SFC FE, which itself was a port of the original Famicom game with added scenarios.

Not sure if this is true or not, but the abscence of a subtitle would indicate so...
