I don't think we'd even be discussing Let's Tap if it wasn't being made by Naka-san. I don't remember talking about Raving Rabbits TV Party's sit-on-the-balance board controls.

I don't see how PROPE, a company that was founded on creative freedom by seperating itself from the corporate structure at SEGA, would want to be teathered to a Donkey Kong themed peripheral from the gamecube on their new Wii game. Plus doing so would void the cool factor of using a box or any platform that can pick up vibrations to control the game.layazero wrote:this looks like a proof of concept, or a prototype, not a full game. it also looks like this game is riding on the strength of the name of yuji naka. would you have cared otherwise?
The game comes with 4 very solid well developed games each coming from different game genres:These games aren't as shallow as Mario Party games. The Bubble Voyager game looks particularly awesome, and has an entirely different gameplay mode when it comes to multi-player.
- Rhythm
- Racing
- Puzzle
- Shooter
Would I have been interested if Yuji Naka's name wasn't associated with this project? Hmm well lets see:
1.) Brand new Original IP
2.) Whales and Rainbows
3.) Drum & Bass
4.) Stylish Design
This isn't Calvin Tucker's Redneck Jamboree
Let's Tap actually has some class and is a very well rounded product. I think adding a ton of tack on filler games just to say "This product comes with 20 mini-games" would have dilluted the experience. Quality over Quantity.Gironika wrote:it also rides on the choice of music, keep that in mind. You can find a bunch of vids that feature the song that was used on the "coming soon"-page and it's really a hit they have there. And if you surf around the website long enough you'll be able to listen to some other songs as well.
Yea the theme song for Let's Tap is insanely catchy:
