I haven't been able to find any info on a Japanese version of this. It seems to have been released only in the US and EU. Is it Western-made by any chance? Kulata says it's been released in Japan under the same name as in Europe (Ninja Cop), but what the fuck does he know?

It was released also in Europe and Japan under the slightly better name Ninja Cop (complete with slightly better cover art.)

It was made by the same guys who did the GBA Ninja Turtles games. Were they a Japanese team?
