Hey. Read your circa-last-year commentary on grindan-fests. Might I recommend you try out Westwood's Blade Runner? I've been playing it recently and it's sucking me in like Deus Ex and Planescape did. I forgot what it was like to play a game where you're in a world that feels genuinely responsive to your actions. It ain't perfect, but it's better than anything else out there at the moment.
Of course, it's ~a decade old, too.
Keep up the good words.
I used to have this game back around '98, when I was living in London. Didn't really get around to playing more than a few minutes, though I've always meant to.
