The game is based on an original scenario penned by the author. The game features missions, 80 characters from the anime and novel, and a turn-based four member party battle system. The game roughly covers season 1 & 2 of the anime, with added original content. Pre-orders receive a product code to download "Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere Portable Breast Paradise," which is basically a collection of three mini-games pertaining to breasts. The LE comes with a Nendoroid and Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere Portable special fanbook in a limited-edition box set.

The morans on NeoGAF are saying it's got crappy art direction, but what do they know. It's not fucking Shinkiro, but it's perfectly good illustration work -- well above the average for throaway anime work.
