ABOUT

Otherworld is a sci-fi action-adventure game that takes place on an undiscovered alien world. You play as an engineer who escapes from a large malfunctioning spaceship falling into Otherworld's atmosphere. After crash landing, alone with no survivors, the engineer explores, and uncovers a vast alien world and conspiracy. The player must learn to survive in a hostile alien world, and at the same time, find a way to go home.

Otherworld will have survival mechanics, along with adventure gameplay such as crafting, item collecting, exploration, and story-driven dialogue. The eventual goal of the player is to leave Otherworld by reaching a high level of technology, enough so to construct a powerful and efficient rocket. By this moment, the player will have the capacity to construct robotic servants and builders who can manage an increasingly complex system of technologies and research. Meanwhile, the player must explore and find in the deepest recesses of Otherworld, specific and rarer materials for new technologies and/or energy sources.

Key Features:

Randomly Generated Environments: The game will have randomly generated environments, villages, cities, ruins, and other structures.

Resource Management, Crafting, and Item Collecting: The player will collect resources, craft new items and weapons, and manage resources for other purposes.

HackʼnʼSlash: The player will fight real-time utilizing various craftable weapons.

Exploration: The player will have to explore the random generated environment for resources, story development, and quests.

The fact that they couldn't bring themselves to spend the 5 bucks to buy their own domain name says quite a lot more than their descriptions of the game, I think.

Well, they do have their own domain, actually.

http://www.playotherworld.com/

But it redirects to their Blogger address. So they are not even technically proficient enough to link their custom domain address to their Blogger account...

Meanwhile, I could code their website in Notepad in half an hour, and I can't code for shit.
