Osiris - new secret game from Ubisoft?

Remember the rumor last summer about how Prince of Persia was on its way back?

Osiris seems to be that game.

An early production-video from this game has surfaced on the internet. Osiris will take place in Egypt and is developed by the team behind Assassin's Creed.

A rumor talks about that this will be "God of War meets Shadow of the Colossus".

Ubisoft haven't said anything about this, but in all likelyhood it's about a game for the next console-generation.

There's a summary of leaks and rumors, but the bottom line is this:

Ubisoft Montreal CEO Yannis Mallat recently said that the Prince of Persia series has been "paused".

"As soon as we have something to show, we will," Mallat told IGN.

Polygon has contacted Ubisoft seeking comment on Osiris and its possible relationship to Prince of Persia.

Update: "The content in question was from a Ubisoft project that is no longer moving forward," a Ubisoft representative tells Polygon.
