Few details about the title were revealed during the presentation, though Iwata promised that those familiar with the sport would be welcomed in by straightforward controls. The game will play host to a number of courses, some of which are designed to look like real-world courses, and some of which will look like environments pulled from the Mario universe.
No firm release date for the title was revealed, but Iwata said that it would be released sometime this summer.
