Liberation Maiden SIN is an upcoming game currently in development by Goichi Suda and Japanese games studio 5pb. It is a sequel to Liberation Maiden, although it will not feature the 3D shooter gameplay of its predecessor, instead going for a 'Visual Novel' approach. The game will be developed by Steins;Gate creator 5pb instead of Grasshopper Manufacture, although Suda has confirmed that he will be writing several of the game's scenarios[1]. As with Liberation Maiden, Yusuke Kozaki will be handling character design and illustrations.
The game will follow the exploits of Kiyoto Kaido, childhood friend of and newly-appointed chief aide to President Shoko Ozora, during the events of the Second Liberation War. Kaido has the ability to read other people's minds. Several new female characters will also appear as cabinet members in the New Japan government. Both the Liberator Kamui and the Guardian Spirits will also feature[2].
Liberation Maiden SIN is due to be published by 5pb and will be released on the Playstation 3. It is expected to release in Japan sometime towards the end of 2013, although there is currently no information on whether it will receive an international release[3].
