Videogame technology in medical imaging

In the last 4 months I'm in the process of writing my MSc Dissertation. While browsing the Web for useful information and references I came up with a company that uses "innovative technology derived from the computer gaming industry into the medical imaging field". Well, for some time now surgeons have been saying that the Wii improves their performance while operating.

I wonder if it's just their hands that become less shak-y or more of an improvement in hand-eye coordination.
