(but with a jet pack and boxing gloves). I've had the board for about a year but never gave it much time until last week. Great visuals (especially if you like the Cannon Dancer / Karate Tournament style) and a cool funky soundtrack (by Reika or Maro from Data East, can't say for sure but I recognize the style). The scoring system is simple but gets very strategical and fast paced.

Was this before we started doing the one-minute reviews? Either way, this is a great example of the genre (of one-minute reviewing, I mean). All it's missing is a star rating. And perhaps also a little less emphasis on aesthetics in favor of mechanics.

Guess not. I'll give it a touch up and add stars. I can't access the Staff section since a few weeks though. I sent you an e-mail about it before.

Fixed.

I did an "autumn cleaning" in the staff usergroup a while back, kicking a bunch of deadbeats out, and I must have given you the boot by mistake.

Zinger, do you know about any special moves in this game? I remember the characters doing some stuff during the demo that I couldn't figure out.

Can you remember any details? I don't remember any special moves except for the berserk mode activated by picking up jet engine items, but it's been a while since I last played it.

I figured it out. In the Japanese version you can uppercut and slam enemies by holding up and down. In the World version you can do dick. What a joke.

Ah, right. Of course. I think I read about those moves in the manual before even playing the game, so I never thought about them much. I had no idea they were left out of the world revision.
